Auto-complete
& Character Matching

Arcadia PowerCombo comes with two flexible matching styles between the text entered and the values of the key column in the dropdown list. The first style automatically matches the entered characters in the textbox with the closest item in the dropdown list where the matched item value following the entered characters is highlighted in the textbox .  The second style matches the first letter entered in the textbox with the first letter in the list.  And if you press the same letter the following item with the same first character gets selected and so on.  Furthermore, you can disable the character matching feature.

Appearances & Styles

Arcadia PowerCombo comes with built-in flat, 3D and XP appearances that works under Windows 98, Me, 2000, NT 4.0, XP, and Vista. Arcadia PowerCombo highly customizable appearance enables you to modify the style and colors for various PowerCombo elements, including fonts, borders, textbox, scrollbars, dropdown button, and backgrounds. You can enhance the looks of your application further by applying gradient effects on many sections.

Corners Rounding
& Slanting Appearance

Add a stylish touch to your application with Arcadia PowerCombo's corners rounding
and slanting look.  Each style includes three levels with the ability to assign a different style and level for each of the four corners of the PowerCombo object. Additionally, rounded corners are anti-aliased under
XP appearance for enhanced graphical presentation.

Gradient Color Generator

Arcadia PowerCombo comes with highly flexible built-in gradient color effects generator

that enables you to create endless possibilities of looks for your applications. Gradient effects can be applied on various sections of PowerCombo and for different states. Gradient effects can be applied on dropdown button, list header, odd and even item rows, items selection bar, and all elements in the scrollbar.

Translucency Effects

Arcadia PowerCombo built-in translucency feature enables you to add attractive presentation effects to your application by having the option to set full translucency or background only with the ability to apply different translucency levels all the way from opaque to transparent.

Entry Styles

Arcadia PowerCombo helps you expedite the data entry in your applications for yours users by applying commonly used entry styles, including all uppercase, all lowercase, and initial uppercase.

Arcadia PowerCombo enables you to set the top, left, bottom, and right margins for the textbox  entry area for accurate text positioning and appearance consistency with other controls. Additionally, Arcadia PowerCombo comes with advanced properties and methods to set headers and columns margins for captions, text, and picture in.

Items Separators

For better items organization, Arcadia PowerCombo enables you to insert four styles of separator lines between items in the dropdown list: solid line, double solid line, dotted line, and dashed line.  Additionally, you can modify separator lines  colors.

Bi-Directional Enabled

Arcadia PowerCombo comes with advanced and flexible bi-directional appearance and functionality features, including left and right side placement of the vertical scrollbar and automatic column index assignment that starts from the first column on the left side or the first column on the right side of the PowerCombo object according to the selected language direction.
