integrated dropdown calendar with highly customizable appearance and
functionality, including: Alignment, calendar title bar, days header with
localization auto detection, today bar and caption, today
indicator, month and year navigation, minimum and maximum date, start of the
week setting, solid and gradient color customization for various calendar
background and foreground elements with translucency effects assignment
option. In addition to supporting the default Gregorian calendar,
Arcadia PowerEdit now supports the Hijri calendar.

Appearances & Styles
Arcadia PowerEdit comes with built-in flat, 3D and XP appearances that works
under Windows 98, Me, 2000, NT 4.0, XP, and Vista. Arcadia PowerEdit highly
customizable appearance enables you to modify the style and colors for
various PowerEdit elements, including fonts, borders, and backgrounds.
Furthermore, elements styles settings can be applied on various PowerEdit
sections, including the edit box, calendar, spin buttons, and scrollbars.
To enhance the looks of your application even more, you can apply gradient
effects on several PowerEdit sections.
Corners Rounding
& Slanting Appearance
Add a stylish touch to your application with Arcadia PowerEdit's corners
rounding
and slanting look. Each style includes three levels with the ability
to assign a different style and level for each of the four corners of the
PowerEdit object. Additionally, rounded corners
are anti-aliased under XP appearance for enhanced graphical presentation.

Gradient
Color Generator
Arcadia PowerEdit comes with
advanced built-in gradient color effects generator that can be applied on
PowerEdit's buttons, calendar, and scrollbars. You can generate horizontal,
vertical, diagonal up, diagonal down, corner, and XP (style 1 and 2) gradients with
four variants for each gradient. Gradients with their associated
variants can be applied on all available PowerTab states, including
default state, when mouse pointer moves over the tab buttons,
and when tab is disabled.
Translucency Effects
Arcadia PowerEdit built-in
translucency feature enables you to add attractive presentation effects to your application by
having the option to set
full translucency or background only with the ability to apply different
translucency levels all the way from opaque to transparent.

the digit grouping format, negative values format, currency positive value
format, number of decimal digits, decimal symbol, digit grouping symbol,
currency symbol, and whether you would like to display leading zeros.

Ensure accurate data entry with Arcadia PowerEdit advanced mask edit
feature. In addition to the standard mask formatting, Arcadia PowerEdit mask
feature has been enhanced from previous versions with the addition of the
new optional character entry format that enables you to provide your users
with flexible data entry within a conformed format. This feature can be used
for international telephone and fax number formatting where country code,
area code, and number grouping style may differ from one country to another.
Password Character
With Arcadia PowerEdit, you can create password entry style by settings a
password character that will be shown in place of any character entered in
